All over the US plus Germany, Vietnam and Korea Love Colorado for the mountains and climate
When I started running and what got me started:
High school track in 1949. On and off for many years. Steady for about ten years starting in 1980. Quit in 1991 when I got into competitive powerlifting. Quit powerlifting in 2002 and started running again.
What does running mean to me:
Mental and physical health along with the joy of feeling good on those special runs when you are in the zone and enjoying the beauty of God's creation in the mountains

What I like about trail/mountain running:
Beauty of the scenery and challenge. (I really like the downhill part.)
Favorite running trail and why:
Barr trail but I rarely get down there. I hope to start running with the club starting in May to get ready for this year's Ascent.

Ascent. Its magnificent above timberline.
Best running experience:
Ascent. (see above)
Worst running experience:
I don't do "worst".
Neatest thing found on a run:
That I can still go.
Running related bathroom stop story:
I do it on the run. (only kidding)
Running pet peeves:
Getting tired and slowing down.

I'm adorable

cycling,reading, weightlifting
Other stuff:
If I break 5 hours on the Ascent will go for the Marathon next year and try a 50 miler. If I'm successful in that may try the Leadville 100 the following year
