When I started running and what got me started:
I started running at 17 when I joined the Air Force, realized I pretty good at it and took off from there.
What does running mean to me:
Peace, tranquility, relaxation

Won the 1999 Taos NM Marathon, 9th Place and 2:30:23 PR at St George Marathon 1997. 133rd Overall place at 1988 Boston Marathon.
What I like about trail/mountain running:
Solitude, quiet, peacful, beauty
Favorite running trail and why:
Not sure I have found it yet, but Waldo and Section 16 are awesome
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Barr Trail Mountain race, just long enough to kick your butt, but not long enough to kill you.
Best running experience:
1998 St George Utah Marathon, everything was perfect, missed breaking 2:30:00 by 23 secs by felt awesome, negative splits.
Worst running experience:
1988 Denver Marathon, the old one, hurt my knee at 16 miles and didn't quit, walked to a 3:33 and lost 6 months running to the injury.
Neatest thing found on a run:
Shovel - that was a neat sight running down the road with it.
Running related bathroom stop story:
when you gotta go, you gotta go
Running pet peeves:
traffic that doesn't yield, be it bikes cars or whatever. unleashed DOGS!
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
One of the 4 Original founding members of the incline club

Skiiing, swimming, bowling, pretty much all sports. Reading, computers
