Southern New Mexico until Fall of '05, moved here to the Springs.
Loved NM and being here is another world.

When I started running and what got me started:
1984, 3 miles with a friend.

What does running mean to me:
Time to think and dream, exercise is frosting.

Leadville, Pikes Peak, La Luz Trail, Duke City Marathon

What I like about trail/mountain running:
No Asphalt and you must pay attention

Favorite running trail and why:
Barr Trail after The Incline

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
La Luz Trail, Albuquerque. Never alone and very entertaining watching others.

Best running experience:
2 a.m. at Leadville, 20 hours after starting. Full Moon.

Worst running experience:
Not finishing Leadville on first attempt.
