What I do for work:

Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Montana, Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Mississippi, Florida, Colorado

When I started running and what got me started:
Fell in love with triathlons in college, and never looked back...then did the 2013 TCR and realized that I loved running, but was REALLY bad at it. So here I am to improve myself!

What does running mean to me:
Mental and spiritual clarity.

Running accomplishments: View my Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon results
2013 Triple Crown, PPA 2013, 2015, Double PPA/PPM 2017, IRONMAN Boulder, IM70.3 Boulder, Austin, St. George.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
Serenity, quiet, the smell of crisp, mountain air.

Favorite running trail and why:
Four Pass Loop, the views!!!

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
PPA...for the entire time I've lived in the Springs, I've taken Pikes Peak's grandeur and beauty for granted until I had to run up it! Now I hold the Peak in a whole new respect.

Best running experience:
PPA 2015

Worst running experience:
Fat Tire Tri...ran up and mountain, puking the whole way, after having been kicked in the nose during the swim, and crashing into a cactus during the bike.

Neatest thing found on a run:

Running related bathroom stop story:
Just go, man.

Running pet peeves:
When people move to the left when I yell "on your left!"...maybe I should yell "down the middle?"

Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
Teach piano

Other hobbies and interests:
Triathlons, rock climbing, my daughter Fiona, mountaineering
