What I do for work:
Project Manager at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Moved over 20 times, but I consider New Mexico to be home.

When I started running and what got me started:
Played competitive soccer all of my life, but didn't start running around without a soccer ball until college. Started doing a lot of running and hiking after college.

What does running mean to me:
Trail running helps keep me sane...I really should run more.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
Is a great escape - enjoy the physical challenge and the scenery.

Favorite running trail and why:
La Luz Trail in Albuquerque - can run up to the top of Sandia Peak, have a celebratory micro-brew and green chile hamburger at the summit, and then take the gondola back down to save me knees. Also like Baylor Pass Trail in Las Cruces, and of course, Pikes Peak.

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Pikes Peak Ascent, La Luz Trail Run, and Imogene Pass are my favorites.

Other hobbies and interests:
Travel, soccer, classical & flamenco guitar, hiking, backpacking.
