When I started running and what got me started:
In 2000, a month before the Bolder Boulder, I dared myself to do my first foot race. I almost melted...but I was hooked.
What does running mean to me:
Freedom
Running accomplishments:
Feeling better now than when I was ten years younger. A few old lady awards here and there. 2002 Triple Crown series 2nd place 45-49 female.
What I like about trail/mountain running:
Freedom
Favorite running trail and why:
Santa Fe Trail south of Baptist Road; it's near home and my dog likes to drink out of the creek

Barr Trail Mountin Race; small, fun, well-organized, money to good causes

On the sand at the beach

Falling during Barr Trail Mountain Race
Neatest thing found on a run:
A bear. Luckily it was scared too.
Running related bathroom stop story:
In porta-potty when gun went off at 2005 GOG race. I had to run backwards on course to start line and turn around.

Playing fiddle, weaving, chauffeuring kids
