What I like about trail/mountain running:
Everything. The community, the geology along the trail, climbing mountains, the challenge, racing, exploring, and just being outside in the woods or, on the side of a mountain.
Favorite running trail and why:
Anything technical with nice or crazy descents.
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Manitouís Revenge in Windham NY. The race is gnarly with 15,000ft of climbing and very technical.

Running with the leatherman harriers.
Worst running experience:
Ran a snowy trail by my college and thought I saw a deer up ahead but as I got closer I saw it was a coyote eating a persons pet dog.
Neatest thing found on a run:
A full size in color detailed trail map.
Running pet peeves:
People trying to race me when i'm running for fun on an easy day. Calling runners joggers. People who use treking poles for pretty much flat trails. People who take long phone calls on the trail especially about work.
