Colorado Native!

When I started running and what got me started:
19 years ago! I moved to a remote house with no gym access. It did have beautiful scenery, however.

What does running mean to me:
Running is my medication!

Running accomplishments:
1 Marathon, 10 half marathons, countless 10K and 5K

What I like about trail/mountain running:
Scenery, the battle

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Hard to beat Marathon #1---Eco Marathon on Catalina Island, CA

Best running experience:
Forgetting your surroundings, plugging into the iPod and going. In the rain? Even better

Worst running experience:
Um--I'm a klutz... concussion and broken arm resulting from running with untrained dog. Ugh.

Neatest thing found on a run:
$40 cash!

Reading/camping/travel/quilting
