Snowmass Lake is a stunner

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:

Best running experience:
After a first-snow in Ketchikan, I drove out to Perseverance Trail and ran up the pristine boardwalk to the partially frozen glacial lake. I had to duck under the burdened limbs and squeek though the silence. The footfall of critters were the only ones preceeding mine.

Worst running experience:
plantar faciitis

Neatest thing found on a run:
Baby rattlesnake- G of G
Pack of Coyotes and two javalenas- South Mountain
Big Ass Monitor Lizard near Bakau

Running pet peeves:
dog poop
