What I like about trail/mountain running:
Mountain running is like backcountry skiing or snow boarding. You grind your way to the top and the motivation to get to the top is thinking about the free ride down.

Best running experience:
Running the GOG in under 80 minutes, that was fast for me and living through the Pikes Peak Double
Worst running experience:
Mosquito Marathon: Got off course and ran a few extra miles above 12,000 feet. The race took nearly eight hours. Would have to check with Laura Engleman to know for sure what happened.
Neatest thing found on a run:
Leather suit case belonging to a Colorado Springs police officer, it contained his riot gear.
Running related bathroom stop story:
Well there was this time above treeline..........
Running pet peeves:
Horse and other animal poop on the trail.
Other hobbies and interests:
Camping, mountain biking, backpacking, snow boarding, snow skiing.
