PBR and stogies on the summit of Mt. Lincoln
All I want to do is drink beer and train like an animal!

Holly the Wonder Dog. If you beat me in a race and then come to my house, she will bite you.
What I do for work:
Bartender at the Red Rock Lounge.
Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Moved to the Springs from Austin, Texas. Used to vacation in Colorado all the time, figured I'd just move here to save all that airplane money.
When I started running and what got me started:
Started running x-c and track in high school - too skinny and slow to play football.
What does running mean to me:
It means I can eat and drink whatever I want and not get too fat.

Broke the 15 minute barrier for the 3000m steeplechase.
What I like about trail/mountain running:
The camraderie and the scenery.
Favorite running trail and why:
Camp Creek. It's by far the most exciting way to get to the closest bar to my house.
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Spiral Drive in Salida. Only four miles, and two of those are downhill, so it's over quickly. Plus, nobody good shows up so I can finish somewhat near the top.
Best running experience:
Walking into the hoity toity tourist trap Bright Angel Lounge all sweaty and smelly from a Grand Canyon R2R2R run.
Running related bathroom stop story:
My next door neighbor Sean O'Day often ends his runs at my house to use the bathroom. What the hell is up with that?
Running pet peeves:
Horseshit on trail. I see people blow up when a dog takes a crap, but nobody seems to care if a horse drops a 50 pound pile of turds in the middle of a trail! Take a shovel and get rid of all that crap!
Other hobbies and interests:
Bagging 14ers, hashing, camping, Widespread Panic, Pabst Blue Ribbon.
