Just moved here from Dallas, Texas in 2006. I wanted something better for my son and I didn't want him growing up in the "Concrete Jungle" So, we packed and we moved...just like that! The Springs is calmer, more beautiful and not so DAMN HOT!

When I started running and what got me started:
Been running since....well, a long time ago!

What does running mean to me:
I can enjoy a second pint of Guinness.
Freedom and a chance to be one on one w/ GOD

What I like about trail/mountain running:
I can be gone for what seems like only minutes when it's actually been hours. I lose all track of time.

Favorite running trail and why:
Waldo Canyon

Running pet peeves:
People who try to carry on a conversation while runing. (Not really a pet peeve, it's just that I'm struggling and gasping for air and don't have the capacity to reply.)

I was an Executive Chef for 13yrs
