"Big dreams require little actions over a long time" -David Roche, Colorado trail runner/coach
City: Colorado Springs State: CO
Favorite Shoe: Adidas
Age: 44.2 years old
Marital Status: Married
Family members:
Wife - Kristin, Twins - Brenna and Rylan
What I do for work:
Nothing that cool , except my job gives me the freedom to trail more-or-less when I want to train or weather permits.
Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
I am a Colorado Native who hopes to live here forever!
When I started running and what got me started:
I started running a few months after the twins were born in October 2007, I really prefer riding my bicycle, but there just is not enough time for 100 mile 5+ hour workouts any more so I run because it is more workout per minute and still gets me out in nature!
Best running experience:
2nd marathon - The last leg of the Memorial Hermann Ironman Triathlon was so much fun, it was three laps, I felt awesome for almost all of it and I loved the atmosphere.
Worst running experience:
1st marathon - I hated it (probably because I was not really prepared for it).
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I am a published author. I wrote "Big Dreams" while my wife was pregnant with our twins. It is a children's book that I enjoy reading to them before bed.
Other hobbies and interests:
I am a cyclist. I was a RAAM (Race Across AMerica) qualifier finishing every mile of the 2007 Elite Transcontinental PAC Tour that started in San Diego, California and ended on Tybee Island, Georgia 17 days and 2800 miles later. (http://www.pactour.com/)
