As little as possible (retired)
Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
New York, Calif. Colorado I am mainly a cyclist and love riding up mtn. passes.
When I started running and what got me started:
2000, I needed a change from my cycling obsession
What does running mean to me:
Sometimes pain sometimes pleasure. I enjoy the companionship of the other runners.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
Scenery and easier on the joints than street

Barr Trail because it's like an old friend
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Barr Trail Mtn race because it's managed well and has a friendly atmosphere about it and good pizza at the end..now if only there was beer
Best running experience:
Finishing the double in "05"
Worst running experience:
08 Ascent in the snowstorm. I was so cold on top I felt sick, and not being able to finish the marathon the next day.
Neatest thing found on a run:
A bear
Running pet peeves:
People with earphones who don't hear on your left.
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I've made 11 parachute jumps and I smoked for 30 years (what was I thinking)? I didn't coach a famous San Fran. football team.
Other hobbies and interests:
Photography, cycling, drinking good beer
Other stuff:
favorite books... It's not about the bike...Atlas Shrugged favorite foods...Italian, hot Thai food and on rare occasions a good steak favorite movies.. "The Thing" and other old b/w horror films also "Breaking Away"
