Virgina, Georgia, Texas, California, North Dakota, Ohio, Alabama. Looking at that list is it any wonder Colorado's my favorite?
When I started running and what got me started:
When I was 13...my 53-year-old dad got caught in the newest craze: Jogging! It was 1969!
What does running mean to me:
Boredom, unless I'm looking at mountains, trees, stars, and avoiding ankle twisters.

Best running experience:
Morrow Bay 10K, 1985...OK, so the ocean is good for something! Just flat-out gorgeous! Mt Evans Ascent, 2012...won age group!
Worst running experience:
My first BTMR (2004)...had not trained for the downhill AT ALL...learned a new (for me) running term: Bonk.
Neatest thing found on a run:
Two llamas, with saddles!
Running related bathroom stop story:
Summer Roundup, 2008...was in the can when the gun went off...passed over 400 folks.
Running pet peeves:
Hikers on the trail on race day! What are they thinking???
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I'm a recovering theologue and a burgeoning exegete

Sometimes you just gotta lose the weight...lost 20 lbs this spring and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
