8/11/12 Sat: Because of car race practice (the race was moved to August 12th this year because of the Waldo fires) we did our run on Saturday the 10th. And despite the date change at least 43 ICers got their name on the list.
8/9/12 Thur: 36 did a taper run today which was 20 mins of 1 min hard, 1 min easy vs the normal 30 mins. They follewed it up with 4 hill repeats instead of 8.

7/29/12 Sun: 36 managed to find a list to sign up on. It is harder these days because runners start from all over the mountain.

7/22/12 Sun: With runners all over the mountain at least 38 got signed in.

6/14/12 Thur: At least 38 ICers did 30 minuts of 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy up the Barr Trail
6/10/12 Sun: GOG 10 Mile. At least 26 ICers did it but many have yet to file a Race report.

5/31/12 Thur: 41 showed for 30 minutes of 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy up the Barr Trail.
5/27/12 Sun: Although 41 got signed in, things are getting a little hard to track because some are already heading to Elk Park and even the Summit for run! That is quite a bit earlier than most years with the report being that very little snow is left up top.
5/24/12 Thur: 34 came out today with most heading up the Barr Trail for a tempo run. Downright summer like!
5/20/12 Sun: 47 shoed up today. Most headed for the Barr Trail but quite a few opted to put in some training for the upcoming GOG 10 Mile.
5/17/12 Thur: Barr Tail + 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy for 30 mintes = a great workout for 29 ICers today.
5/13/12 Sun: 41 got signed in today. One of the smaller Sunday runs in a while which could be because several were off racing. Good to put one's fitness to the test once and a while.
5/10/12 Thur: 34 ICers did a tempo run up the Barr Trail and followed that up with some hill repeats on the PI trail.
5/6/12 Sun: Hi ho, hi ho it's off to Barr Camp we go. And 45 Icers did just that. Some even went higer with at least one making it to the top.
5/3/12 Thur: At least 35 ICers made the workout today which was 30 minutes of 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy up the Barr Trail. And because it is a new month we now are doing 5 PI hill repeats.
4/29/12 Sun: 47 signed in for a run up the Barr Trail. However, some headed for Elk Park and the summit - already!
4/26/12 Thur: 38 did a tempo run up the Barr Trail today and I am told that some set some all time PRs!
4/22/12 Sun: At least 54 ICers showed today for a trip up the Barr Trail. It was a downright awesome day to be running!
4/18/12 Thur: 38 signed up for 30 minutes of 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy up the Barr Trail.
4/15/12 Sun: Another aswome day greated 47 ICers. Most headed for Barr Camp. A few went higher.
4/12/12 Thur: 47 ICers came out today for a tempo run up the Barr Trail. Some are already setting PRs! Others found out how much speed they have lost.
4/8/12 Sun: 58 headed to Barr Camp or points unknown. While it started off a tad cool it quickly warmed up for another great day to be out and about doing our thing.
4/5/12 Thur: 48 came to the first IC Thursday run of the 2012 Season. As always the group started with 20 minutes of 1 minute hard, 1 minute easy up the Barr Trail followed by 4 short hill repeats.
4/1/12 Sun: No fools showed up today but 61 ICers took off up the Barr Trail with many making it to Barr Camp. There was not one step of snow/ice the whole way :-)
3/25/18 Sun: 60 showed today for a trip up Longs Ranch Road which revealed all the snow is gone from the loop.
03/18/12 Sun: A great day brought out 63 ICers for a trip around Waldo. Lots of the snow/ice has melted!
03/11/12 Sun: 57 ICers remembered to set their clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time. It had been raining just before the run and there was fresh snow up above. Several report LOTS of ice above No Name Creek.
03/04/12 Sun: At least 60 ICers got signed in today. It felt just a little like spring today.
02/26/12 Sun: 54 got to run in some new snow today up Longs Ranch Road. But it wasn't too bad and in fact was kind of fun. However, not so fun was the patches of ice on the Barr Trail on the way down:-(
02/19/12 Sun: 55 got out of bed for a day that started cold but warmed up nicely. Waldo was the loop but as always people chose runs that they were most comfortable with. Not too many snow/ice issues today.
02/12/12 Sun: 48 came out on a cold, cold day! But it slowly warmed up to freezing. Snow was not too bad and if anything added some traction to the icy spots.
02/05/12 Sun: With a new local race happening next door, a cold day, and perhaps the Super Bowl only 43 showed today. Quite a bit of fresh snow out there kept things interesting with a few falls reported.
01/29/12 Sun: 62 showed for a day that warmed up nicely. Compared to last week a LOT of ice is good from Longs Ranch Road. Nice!
01/22/12 Sun: At least 73 ICers headed out on an ICEfest today! I can actually say I don't remember this much ice! Quite a few reports of falls even amongst those with traction devices. But hey, we ran and running is good.
01/15/12 Sun: 62 came out for the club run today. Longs was snow packed with a few bare spots. Barr was still icy but a little better than last time. It warmed up pretty good today but not as good as we were led to believe.
01/08/12 Sun: 69 ICers took off on another cold day. But the sun broke through the clouds and it got above freezing. Lots of ice out there so more are opting for Longs Ranch Road.
01/01/12 Sun: With some off running the Rescue Ron 10K and others perhaps a little hungover 43 were left to take on Longs Ranch Road today. Temps start out at 19 and only warmed up a little to 30. There was lots of snow on Longs and lots of ice on the Barr Trail for the trip down. Just one of those runs that needed to be done and now is done.
12/25/11 Sun: For only the 2nd time in 16 years the Sunday run fell on Christmas day. As such we started out with an X-mas gift exchange sprint with Lindsay Cavner leading the pack back to the presents. Then 37 ICers took off on a cold run in slippery snow which added about 30% to our normal times. But we got the run done and then headed home to enjoy the rest of the Holidays.
12/18/11 Sun: 88 ICers got some awesome weather today! It started out at 36 and quickly got up to the 50s which has many peeling off layers of clothes on the trip up Longs Ranch Road. A little packed snow but like Waldo still no ice yet.
12/11/11 Sun: 83 came out for a day that got up to 50 degrees. Keeping up with our alternating run program we were back on Waldo. A little more snow than two weeks ago but still no ice. Awesome.
12/04/11 Sun: 63 ICers braved a cold day of only 17 degrees. But unlike last week it id not warm up much. However, this club seems to like it that way so out Ute we headed to take on the snow on Longs Ranch Road. Barr is in great shape with no ice yet.
11/27/11 Sun: 112 signed in for the first run of the 2012 season. Things started off a a tad cold but after a group photo we headed off to go find Waldo and along the way it slowly warmed up. Waldo has had some nice trail work done since the last time I was there which was early last season. Beyond that things are pretty much as we left them. After the run we had a feedbag where everyone brought enough food for themselves and 2 others. Nothing like a little food right after a run to make everything perfect. YUM! Tim over at PikesPeakSports.us took some nice photos before and during the run. Now if we only knew what Michael Everson was doing in his photo.
11/23/11 Wed: Another e-mail was sent out announcing the first club run of the 2012 season on November 27th.
11/15/11 Wed: An e-mail was sent out today announcing the start of the 2012 season our 16th.
