Colorado Springs has great trails for mountain biking, and the weather's all right.
When I started running and what got me started:
When I was 19 and in the Navy. I was disgusted that I could barely run the semi-annual physical readiness test (1.5 miles on flat surface) without puking. So I started running just a little at first and built from there. It really hurt a lot in the beginning (or maybe my pain tolerance wasn't so high).
What does running mean to me:
Staying in shape and staying lean.
