Live in the moment and enjoy your life. Things are allways changing.

Age: 37.3 years old
Marital Status: none
Family members:
Two beautiful, smart daughters
What I do for work:
ed-tech-Penrose hospital and anesteshia tech-Memorial hospital single mom, part time student
Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
Walsenburg,Co I live near Cheyenne Canyon area, love the wildlife and single track runs.
When I started running and what got me started:
Did some road races-realized i did not like the roads and hit the trails. Trained with the incline club after signing up for my first BTMR. I have done well on the trails. Progressivly I take trail running more serious and get better.
What does running mean to me:
It grounds me. The club has added a lot to my passion for trail/mountian running. Finding out how hard I can actually push myself and what I can acomplish keeps running fun. Thank you incline Club
Running accomplishments:
flatt roads to love for the hiily mountains. 2008-BMTR 4th place age group- 16th female( first time running that race) 2008-ADT 1/2 Marathon 2nd in age group (First time doing a half marathon race) 2008 Fall serries-1st in age group( first time doing that series) 2010-Dirty Thirty 12mile 3rd in age group
What I like about trail/mountain running:
I love to play with the different types of strides, jumping and lateral moves for a quick pace up and down the hills. Kicking out my elbows for a down hill turn and overall balence over some unstable surfaces at a fast pace is exciting. I can't wait to push my self on a lenghty incline only to treat myself to the short rolling hills afterwords and then let loose on a flatt. Pure bliss!!! Not to mention when there is a great tempo song playing and I get lost in the whole ordeal watch out I feel unstoppable.
Favorite running trail and why:
Pushing myself on any trail-just to be able to enjoy some well earned good grub.
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
BMTR- i like a true trail race not dirt road/trial race Dirty Thirty-like the single track and technical trail
Best running experience:
Trainng with the incline club and CRUD- for preparation of any race-you guys keep me paced well.
Worst running experience:
Running too hard in the heat!!
Neatest thing found on a run:
A natural crystal rock- section 16 parking lot, found while stretching
Running pet peeves:
People not picking up thier dogs poop. Leaving it to smell as you wisk buy. YUCK!!!!
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I was into Barrel Racing when I was a kid.
Other stuff:
I want to keep my running at a level that I always enjoy and not push my self so hard that I make an excuse not to run the next day. But then agin all I do is push myself so I will take it run by run.
