What I do for work:
Business Analyst for Utilities

Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
As an Air Force brat, I've lived in Scotland, Germany, and Iowa. I've also visited lots of places but appreciate the clear blue skies and Colorado scenery as well as the lack of humidity and bugs!

When I started running and what got me started:
I ran in school, took a 13 year break and then picked it up again when I met my husband.

What does running mean to me:
I hope it keeps me from being a whiner. I'm grateful every time I can get out for a run since some people can't.

Running accomplishments: View my Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon results
Every run is an accomplishment in my book.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
For me, being outdoors brings life into better perspective. All the trivial little things I sometimes get worked up about fade away when I look around and see the mountains, trees, and beautiful Colorado blue sky.

Neatest thing found on a run:
Saw a bear going out UPT in September '03. I'm pretty sure he was more scared of me than I was of him...right honey? Honey??

Running pet peeves:
People running 2 or 3 (or more) abreast and not moving over to allow some space. Duh.
Litter - come on people.

Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I like traveling, Harry Potter, TAPs, and beating my husband in the football pool ; )

Other hobbies and interests:
Reading, animals, board games
