When I started running and what got me started:
right after I graduated from high school in 1979. I seen the Detroit Free Press marathon on TV and said to myself if they can do it I can do it.
What does running mean to me:
compitition, Friends. satisfaction, acclomplishments

Lake Placid Ironman (14 hour 35 minutes) Vermont 100 mile race (19 hours 45 minutes) Sri Chinmoy six day race (three times 258 miles, 254 miles and 235 miles) 1st place overall 1997 Kurt Steiner 50k Nyrrc central park 3:45
Neatest thing found on a run:
40 dollars
Running pet peeves:
walkers walking 2 or more abreast and starting way in front at race.
Other hobbies and interests:
Dogs I have volunteered now for over 4 years as a dog walker and socializer at the Ulster County SPCA in Kingston NY
