Denver Apple Valley, Minnesota Panama Albuquerque Colorado Springs, I've come full circle. I was born in Denver, and after being away for 30 yrs I returned to Colorado. I would like to think I'm a native, but that depends on your definition. Colorado rocks, and I hope I never have to leave again.
When I started running and what got me started:
8th grade - Track, because a friend convinced me to try it. College - Along the banks of the Minnesota River to stay in shape. Military - They made me. First Road Race was the Fathers Day 10k in Gallup, NM in 1986

What I like about trail/mountain running:
Serenity
Favorite running trail and why:
TBD
Best running experience:
The first 20 miles of Grandma's Marathon from Two Harbors to Duluth, MN. Cool weather, wind to my back, beautiful views of lake Superior to my left. PR splits through 10k and half marathon distances. Cruising at my goal of sub 7min miles through the first 20 miles.
Worst running experience:
The last few miles of Grandma's Marathon. I hit the wall, I should have stopped. I hurt my achillies tendon, which hasn't been the same since.
Neatest thing found on a run:
Knee High snow
