When I started running and what got me started:
1997, I needed to get back in shape, so I started running short distances and then fell in love.

What does running mean to me:
Lets me know I'm alive.

Running accomplishments:
A bunch of small races. Chicago Marathon 1999 in under 3 hours.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
You have something to look at.

Favorite running trail and why:
Section 16

Best running experience:
A 1/2 marathon in Highlands Ranch. It was pooring down rain; I felt like a kid playing in the rain.

Worst running experience:
Anything more than 5 miles on a treadmill

Other hobbies and interests:
Bike riding
