Age: 34.6 years old
Marital Status: Married
Family members:

Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
Born in KC, Missouri (GO CHIEFS!!). Have lived in Colorado Springs since I was 5. Love those mountains!!
When I started running and what got me started:
Jr. High ran track, wanted to be a jock and get chicks, ended up running with NO chicks!!
What does running mean to me:
Trying to beat yourself and get better. It is the ultimate battle!!
Running accomplishments:
Every day I battle and beat the lazy Jordan to get out and RUN!
What I like about trail/mountain running:
Great variety, clean air (usually), no concrete/asphalt, other runners usually friendly.
Favorite running trail and why:
Barr Trail, challenging steep hills, gentle rolling hills, some flats, and steep and fast downhills. You can use Barr Trail for training no matter what you are training for! Also Palmer Park, it is close to home and is a lot bigger than you think!
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Barr Trail Mountain Race, great course, great aid stations and superb organization!
Best running experience:
2003 BTMR prepared well, and took over 1/2 hour off my previous runs along the same route. Finished in 2:25:09 and was VERY happy with my effort.
Worst running experience:
First day of Cross Country practice in 9th grade. I thought I'd follow the varsity team on LSD day (long slow distance) how hard could it be, it's slow? I did good for the first half of the run then puked at the turnaround point. I thought I was going to die in Goose Gossage Park! I learned 2 things that day, first ''slow'' is a relative term and second don't run any farther than you are willing to WALK back.
Neatest thing found on a run:
Awesome scenery and wildlife!!
Running related bathroom stop story:
Uhhh mine is kinda gross, if you get to know me maybe I will share it ;-)
Running pet peeves:
1. Dog crap not picked up 2. Rude people
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I love history particularly US and Colorado history.
Other hobbies and interests:
Mountain biking, golfing, hiking, and camping. Anything that will get me out of the city and in the mountains away from everybody.
