What I do for work:
Assoc. Dir. for Pikes Peak Library District

Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
New England but the weather....
COS and vicinity are the best for mountain sports.

When I started running and what got me started:
25 - 30 years ago.

What does running mean to me:
Daily meditation.

Running accomplishments: View my Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon results
Thirty years of loving every minute of it...maybe not every minute.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
I like running above treeline because it is like being a guest in the place of gods and goddesses.

Favorite running trail and why:
Waldo Canyon Trail - Best view of Pikes Peak

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Barr Trail Race - One of a kind, short, challenging and spirited support.

Best running experience:
The best running experiences are on those days when it is improbable that you will have a good run because the weather is bad. They always turn out to be the best if you can make it out the door.

Worst running experience:
Attacked by a dog on Waldo Canyon Trail

Other hobbies and interests:
Other mountain sports, tele skiing and rock climbing.
