When I started running and what got me started:
I've run off and on for years, but started running marathons a year ago.
What does running mean to me:
Getting out and about and seeing things most people don't get to.
Running accomplishments:
Qualifying for Boston.
What I like about trail/mountain running:
Seeing places most people don't even know exist. There is so much more going on than running, that 20 miles seems like 6 at the end.
Best running experience:
Doing a 48 mile run with a few friends from Santa Cruz wharf to Monterey wharf.
Worst running experience:
Having to bail out of the 48 mile run with friends at 32 miles due to serious IT band issues.
