Calgary because of its proximity to the mountains

About 1980 mainly because a friend started
What does running mean to me:
It keeps me on the straight and narrow

30 Marathons including 5 sub 3hour . In the last year I have started to place regularly in my age group .
What I like about trail/mountain running:
The variety of terrain .
Best running experience:
Probably my first sub 3hour marathon in 1987 ,It took me about 6 years to do and I was so close so may times .
Other hobbies and interests:
Skiing , Scrambling and Hiking
