What I do for work:
I work for Colorado Springs Utilities. I am the Technical Services Supervisor for the Distribution, Collection and Treatment Department.

When I started running and what got me started:
I've always been active. Played soccer as a kid growing up. During college I started becoming interested in triathlons so I started running in preparation for those.
What does running mean to me:

What I like about trail/mountain running:
The variety. The scenery.
Favorite running trail and why:
Longs Ranch Road because it's the hardest run for me. I dread and look forward to it everytime.
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
I have only done the Ascent. So... the Ascent.
Best running experience:
Easily 2003 Ironman Hawaii. I was right on with pacing and finally was able to run strong through Energy Lab.
Worst running experience:
1999 Ironman Hawaii... I got a stress fracture in my foot and had to walk the last half of the marathon.

Rocks that jump in front of my foot.

Swimming, Biking, Running, Yoga, Climbing... anythig active.
