Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
Phoenix, AZ - where I grew up.
Tucson, AZ - where I went to college.
Colorado Springs, CO - where I've lived ever since.
When I started running and what got me started:
My first remembrance of racing was in third grade when my teacher would let us out of our classroom to run to the fence and back in the school field whenever we got too noisy. My goal was always to win, even if only me and a couple of the boys were "racing."
What does running mean to me:
Running is a great way to stay fit and feel good.
Trail running is like taking a mini vacation. It's mentally and physically getting out of town and clearing your head and blowing the city and other junk out of your system.
