What I do for work:
Advertising; Media Buyer

Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
West Monroe, Louisiana; Dallas, Texas; Colorado Springs, CO

I prefer to live in the western states of the US, and I love the mountain regions; and Colorado Springs is one of the best places to hang your hat.

When I started running and what got me started:
I started running in High School, via the Cross Country Team, then the track team

What does running mean to me:
Freedom

Running accomplishments: View my Pikes Peak Ascent/Marathon results
Boston Marathon 2012;

What I like about trail/mountain running:
The freedom to discover the mountain via my own means of travel

Favorite running trail and why:
Falcon Trail (USAFA) I love the loop, and the rolling challenges of the various up and downhills

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Leadville 100; I attempted it in 2012. I made it back to Twin Lakes Inbound aid station after some 60 plus miles, but I missed the cutoff by a few minutes. I am giving it another shot in 2013. I love this race for the challenge of running a 100-miles thru the mountains.

Best running experience:
Running the Boston Marathon

Worst running experience:
Having to DNF during the Leadville 100; 2012

Neatest thing found on a run:
a wind chill detecting device, back up in Devil's Playground, back side of Pikes Peak

Running related bathroom stop story:
Dude, I have way to many to discuss; but let's just say I never go running without a stash of TP in my camelback; as I have learned the hard way

Running pet peeves:
Runners who have to end on a even tenth of a mile, because their GPS said the run was only 8.9 miles, and they needed to go 9.0 miles

Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I prefer to run in the dark, between 4a and 6a, while the bulk of the world is asleep, and for sure all of the dog walkers along the trails

Other hobbies and interests:
climbing 14ers, cycling

Other stuff:
Goals for 2013: run the Rim-2-Rim-2-Rim via the Grand Canyon, run San Juan Solstice 50 Mile, and then the Leadville 100
