Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Illinois, New York, Texas, South Carolina, Colorado

I live in Colorado now and love it because of the gorgeous views and plenty of outdoor exercise areas.

When I started running and what got me started:
I started running in grade school competitively and competed all the way through college. Now, I just like to exercise.

What does running mean to me:
It is a way to get away from all the daily drama and just enjoy the views, trails, and company of other runners.

Running accomplishments:
Won many races throughout my running career in track meets and cross country.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
It is much more interesting than running around a track in circles, and there are normally great views.

Favorite running trail and why:
Long Ranch Road because it just kicks your butt!

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Haven't run a trail or mountain race yet.

Best running experience:
Pen Relays in college. The energy there and the amazing athletes was fun to be a part of.

Worst running experience:
The first time going up the incline!!

Nothing interesting.

Running pet peeves:
When people don't pay attention to others around you and just stop right in front of you.

Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I went to West Point for College.

Other hobbies and interests:
I really enjoy working with horses, although I don't have any now. I wish I did though.

Other stuff:
I love to read. I go through books like people drink water.
