I teach children how to read and write.

Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Williamsport, PA & Harrisonburg, VA. I like mountains, so I just kept moving to bigger and bigger peaks.

When I started running and what got me started:
High school - I was bored.

What does running mean to me:
Freedom!

Running accomplishments:
Marathons, trail runs, surprising everyone during the run portion of triathlons.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
It's challenging.

Favorite running trail and why:
Mud Pond (George Washington National Forest) - it involves a lot of steep ascents and mud.

Best running experience:
Passing a boy vomiting up his Gatorade.

Worst running experience:
Chipping my tooth...on a curb.

Neatest thing found on a run:
A bowl...not for cereal.

Other hobbies and interests:
Bikes!
