I like Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods and all of the beautiful trails in the Pikes Peak Region.

When I started running and what got me started:
I started running in grad school in the mid 70's to combat all of the sitting I was doing.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
It is a wonderful way to enjoy the out-of-doors, be at one with nature, and get a great workout all at the same time.

Favorite running trail and why:
Barr Trail. I love it because of the different lifezones and awesome views.

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Pikes Peak Marathon

Best running experience:
The 1979 New York Marathon was an amazing experience because it was my first marathon and the people in all of the boroughs were so friendly and supportive.
