Places I’ve called home and why I like where I am now:
Saratoga, CA - born and raised
Phoenix, AZ - went to ASU (Go Devils!) and then called it home until November 2014
Colorado Springs, CO - recent move for a job opportunity and change of scenery

When I started running and what got me started:
12ish - town loops with my dad. My sister running a marathon really sparked my interest and desire to run longer distances. I figured if she could do it, I could too. Hah, gave me a whole new respect for her.

What does running mean to me:
A breath of fresh air. Getting outside. Clearing my mind.

Running accomplishments:
Marathon - San Diego
1/2's - Big Sur at Monterey Bay, Lost Dutchman, Phoenix Rock & Roll
Lots of 10k's - Wharf to Wharf in Santa Cruz is favorite
Lots of 5k's/fun runs - Pat's Run in Tempe is favorite

What I like about trail/mountain running:
No stop lights, no car exhaust. Uneven path. Being in the outdoors.

Favorite running trail and why:
17 mile drive in Pebble Beach. Beautiful scenery, ideal running weather, listen to the waves/no music necessary.

Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
To date.. McDowell Mountain Desert Classic Duathlon

Best running experience:
Finishing the marathon

Worst running experience:
Mile 20 of the marathon

Neatest thing found on a run:
New levels of mental strength

Running pet peeves:
Chafing
