Places Ive called home and why I like where I am now:
Metamora, Illinois Evanston, Illinois Denver / Colorado Springs / Monument since 1973 (except for 3 years in Houston) Colorado is home because of family, friends and recreational opportunity
When I started running and what got me started:
March, 1977. Started running with a weightlifting friend
What does running mean to me:
Fitness, stress relief, social activity

What I like about trail/mountain running:
it's generally peaceful, and an opportunity to explore new places
Favorite running trail and why:
Greenland Open Space, Area West of Palmer Lake - Winding Stairs Road and Limbaugh Canyon and Balanced Rock Road. Also the Peak and Waldo and the Colorado Trail

dogs that are not constrained but should be...

hunting, fishing, motorcycling, golf, weightlifting
