Army brat growing up. Lived the last 30yrs. in MN. My spirit brought me to the mountains in 2002
When I started running and what got me started:
1980 started running due to a life change.
What does running mean to me:
I'm one with nature. It's a huge part of my spirit.

What I like about trail/mountain running:
I can totally lose myself. It's very soul searching.
Favorite running trail and why:
Deer Creek in Jefferson County. Close to home and accommodates all my running needs.
Favorite trail/mountain race and why:
Pikes Peak. If you've ever done it, you'll know why.
Best running experience:
Running for 2 weeks thru the Andes in Peru with 12 other runners from the U.S.Amazing adventure
Worst running experience:
Western States. First mountain run in '92.Was totally overwhelmed. Drop at 25miles.
Neatest thing found on a run:
Running related bathroom stop story:
Never had the honor.
Running pet peeves:
Long dog leashes.
Something non running related that no one would guess about me:
I have a beautiful 36yr.old daughter and 2 grandchildren.
Other hobbies and interests:
Rock climbing, kickboxing, roller blading, mountain biking, weight lifting, camping, cross country trips, exotic trips. Adventure vacations.
My goal includes keeping fit for life. Love foreign films and exotic foods. The spicier, the better.
