Incline Club News V10 - 10th Annual IC Party:-)

Its time for the 10th annual Incline Club party:-)

Sorry this is coming out today — the same day as the party! I am the first
to admit that Connilee is amazing at putting out our newsletters. Once
again, she steps out of town for a few days and I am already falling
behind! So if you already picked up something for the party then don’t
worry about where you name falls below as far as what to bring.

However, please PLEASE send in your R reports for the PPA/M/D so I can get
the * board updated. http://www.inclineclub.com/rreports.htm

Watch for a season wrap-up newsletter soon with all the R reports. But let
me just say it was an amazing year! I sensed a little different attitude
in the club this year. A little more focus. By that I mean that people
just seemed to put their heads down and “do it” without as much “chatter"
or fanfare! I know I was in that mode for sure. Oh well, it is better to
let our feet do the talking instead of our mouths. And if feet could talk
the ICs were yelling this year:-)

What:
10th annual Incline Club party

When:
Thursday (TODAY), August 24, 5:45pm — Mansions Park!!! Mansions Park is
behind Manitou City Hall or next to Memorial park where we normally meet
for our runs.

Why:
*** Club awards to those who made 45 or more workouts. Again, make sure
your *s, Rs and what not’s are up to date!!! I am seeking input for the
driven award(s) for the year.
*** Food & Drink — enough to make you need to go for a run!
*** Perhaps a food challenge or game or 2, or 3
*** Hanging out and telling Pikes Peak and Leadville war stories

What to bring:
*** A few bucks for Pizza — should be only about $3-$4.
*** If your *last* name is in the A-H range bring dessert; ice cream,
brownies, cookies, etc. If your *last* name is in the I-P range bring
something to drink; softdrinks, juices, etc. (no beer allowed in park -
sorry). If your *last* name is in the Q-Z range bring something to snack
on; chips, pretzels, etc.
*** You may also want to bring a chair to sit on.

Who can come:
Family (kids too) and friends are welcome but no pets please. As always,
don’t feel you can’t come just because you did not make a club run or only
made a few. If you are getting this e-mail you are an ICer:-)
