Subject: A story I found

Hi all,

Since the Pikes Peak races will keep us from having a club run Sunday I
thought I would send out a “bonus club e-mail” to make up for it:-)

I found a neat story on the net today. Actually it was a talk but I thought
it was very profound — you may not.

I recommend that you print it out for several reasons:
1) The background is very distracting
2) I do not think that this story can be “skimmed” in a few moments

A couple of “teaser” lines:

“Why am I doing this? I don’t have to be doing this. It’s not written in the
stars that I have to be climbing this stupid mountain like this.”
“The static perfection of Utopia would be stifling. There would be no
mountain element, no climbing of Pike’s Peak, no problems to solve, maybe
some sensual pleasure but no joy”

Enjoy!

Go out hard, when it hurts speed up...
